A car is been manufactured by a certain automobile engineer. He designs the car for a purpose and gives it a befitting name. After the production of the car, the public demands it in which it is been imported into a country by the government and then sold to the citizen. When an individual buys the car, he/she treats the car with extreme care because it might develop a fault that might endanger their lives.
The above story is also applicable to our lives. The body we carry is made by a supreme engineer who has created it for a purpose. He made it possible for it to be yours through your parents. Now it is yours,
- Are you still keeping it clean from sin? (Just as a man who has a car keeps it clean from dirt)
- Are you still servicing its parts with the words of God? (just as a car owner would service his/her car to prevent its break-down)
- Are you still using it to fulfill the purpose why it was created or are you using it for your selfish needs? (Just as someone can’t use a cargo air plane as his/her private jet)
- Do you still take time to understand the special abilities inscribed in it and use it to the glory of the lord? (Just as a car owner would use a special abilities of a car to gain an undivided love for the manufacturer).
All these are the question we should ask ourselves every day to enable us know on whose side we are on, God or the devil. Never say “there is still time” because a man whose car has a problem never says there is still time, if the problem is not solved on time, it would give rise to a gigantic one that might take our lives untimely and then we would apply the popular phrase “had i know…” Today is still much time to make a turn to Jesus.
